1000 Friends of Minnesota and Minnesota Waters teamed up to create A Citizen’s Guide to Influencing Local Land-Use Decisions, a lighthearted yet informative approach to citizen participation. This short book describes effective ways to help guide land-use decisions that will shape the places we live.
Our staff worked with the McKnight Foundation to write Re:Focus: Making Choices for Future Generations, a report on growth and change in the edge communities of the Twin Cities metro. The report reminds us that the decisions communities make today affect our entire region for generations to come.
