Klara joined 1000 Friends of Minnesota in February 2008. She has experience managing offices in both the business and non-profit sectors, and lends her technical skills in the areas of computer networking, desktop support, and office equipment maintenance. Joan joined 1000 Friends of Minnesota in June 2008 as our Director of Finance. She brings a strong blend of business and nonprofit financial leadership experience to the organization including work in public accounting, banking, insurance, information technology services and community health. Dan joined 1000 Friends of Minnesota in December 2008. Trained as an urban designer and architect, he brings a passion for community engagement honed during his years working with small cities, suburban towns, and urban neighborhoods through the University of Minnesota’s Metropolitan Design Center and Center for Urban and Regional Affairs. Vanessa brings a passion for the public process and a background in natural resources to her position as Community Outreach and Education Coordinator with 1000 Friends of Minnesota. Prior to joining 1000 Friends, she was working as a Rural and Natural Resources Planner in western Montana. More >>
