Lakes to be featured on KAXE this Saturday 11/14

Tune in to KAXE Northern Community Radio out of Grand Rapids this Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to noon for a discussion about lakes.
Show host Heidi Holtan will be talking with listeners about their favorite Minnesota lakes and how people enjoy spending their time at those lakes. Her topic dovetails 1000 Friends of Minnesota’s Voices for the Lakes Essay Contest. Phil Hunsicker of 1000 Friends will be featured on the program with a plug for Minnesota writers to submit their essays for our contest, and to talk about the work of 1000 Friends on issues of clean water and responsible development.
