Norwood-Young America's Legacy Greenway Concept Plan Explained

The 2008 Norwood Young America Comprehensive Plan Update envisioned a greenway system linking five natural environment lakes within the area to existing parks, trails, and community gathering places. The 2010 Legacy Greenway Concept Plan builds on this vision by further defining the scope of a greenway system and providing a framework for how the community will proceed to carry out the project. This Plan was discussed at a recent Norwood Young America City Council meeting (2/22/10). 1000 Friends of Minnesota is working with Norwood Young America through its Community Growth Options program.
